I have been working on a one on one basis with a few new internet marketers, so I am currently making a list of common pitfalls for folks. I have seen a few trends and so far the biggest problem most people have is getting their own website up and indexed by google. With that in mind I will be covering many seo topics here as well.
Everbody has to start at the same place, the begining. So that is where we will start here.
The first topics may be about deciding on what you are going to do online and how you are going to make money, so subscribe and enjoy the videos!

1. Internet Marketing
This will be the first topic of discussion here, we think that many people that are trying to sell on the internet get confused right off the bat. They beleive that Spam is Marketing!
Sending out a link to every place on the internet that you can possibly imagine 3 times a day, is NOT internet marketing, this is spamming and you will not get sales this way. Just like in real life, online marketing is more about building relationships and raport with those who you wish to do business with. If you can leverage social networks and your own websites mailing list to build lasting relationships without try to "sell" your sales will go through the roof.
The problems with carpet bombing the internet with links and messages to "go to my site to buy" is that once people see this from you, they will have no interest in getting to know you, your product or company further. Guys and gals, trust me you do not want people to get a spammy feel from you before they have a chance to look at what you have to offer. You want to look professional and seem to know something about the niche or topic of interest and let them know that you are always there to help if they need it.
People with become to know you as an authority on the topic that you are working with and will come to you with their problems, concerns and needs. Most of these can probably be taken care of by your product or service and this is a much more appropriate time to talk to them about buying from you instead of the guy down the road.
This is a slower method to big business but a method that is tried and true, you may have heard of it being called, "magnetic marketing" or other similar terms and in the internet age, this really is the only way to go.
